Hi Nick, You can find dimensions, materials, and other details for this item under the "Specifications" tab by scrolling down below the images. The fireplace insert is not remote controlled. It does have 2 switches on the face of the unit that will allow you to control the flames and heat separately. Please let us know if you have any other questions!
