“Does this get really hot to the touch on the outside of the fireplace portion? So is it kid friendly?”

Hi Amber, Since the flames aren't real the glass doesn't get very hot. It can get hot at the top where the heats blows out of the vents but shouldn't be enough to cause injury. Please let us know if you have any other questions!
