Do I need new water drain hose? ordered the steel hot and cold water ones. null

We got a new Maytag washer and it is best to get new hoses. We got the steel hot/cold ones. After watching the was for a few loads, we determined we weren't getting enough water. My husband replaced the cold hose with our old one and we used cold water and the flow was correct. He returned the steel hoses and got new hoses with the correct inside diameter. The steel hoses' inside diameter was too small and they did not allow enough water to flow. The larger size diameter hoses do. Now, we get enough water to wash the clothes. We were told to get new hoses, our hoses were old, so it is best to get new ones, but make sure the inside diameter works for your washer. Hope that helps.

They won't use old ones. If you ordered from best buy they would have it avd just use it to I install. No muss, no fuss. I think they charge $29 for set up, and $29 or so for installing those items. Worth it in the long run.
