It's only for battery powered units. It would be pointless if it was for a wired one.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.The system can be used by battery only but you will have to take it back out and recharge it. I have the solar power option but you be sure to have enough sunlight where you are mounting it.

Now with this additional solar product I'm really satisfied cause it works, I have not to charge battery anymore. Just before install solar panel, first fully charge your battery and second (before buy) be sure your new product will be receiving some sun during day to mantain powered your battery.
