Do we need WIFI on this camera? null

Short answer is Yes... The cameras have to be paired with their appropriate app on your phone and/or in some cases you can also control them on your PC. An internet/wifi connection is needed to live view and control the camera at its location. On your phone you can use either data or wifi but the cameras do need connectivity on live.
