It has a rechargeable battery. Two of us use the unit 2x/day and the battery lasts about a week. The unit is pretty small so that it is easily moved to where you have a plug.

Hi Georgette - The WF-11 comes with a rechargeable lithium battery that is not replaceable. A full charge will last for approximately 4 weeks when unit is used once a day for one minute a day. The internal battery is rechargeable. No other battery, cable, or charger is needed. It’s all self-contained.

You recharge the unit.  I doubt if trying to put in a new battery after a couple of years of service would be cost efficient.

All I did was plug it charger and once it fully charges it last about 4 weeks . I don’t think the battery is replaceable. I’ve had mine for about 3 months and have only charged it twice .
