Yes it will void warranty
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. For the ROG, it does not void any warranty. They make it easily accessible to change it out. I cannot, however, vouch for the Steam Deck, as I do not own one.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.any alterations to a device that requires opening the system probably will. there's a sticker inside the steam deck that you have to peel back, and I'm assuming thats an to tell if any self-modifications were made. I'm certain you can give them the item you want to have upgraded with the item you want to upgrade, and they would do it. potentially for a fee. I don't use geeksquad, so I wouldn't know.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. If you are referring to the Steam Deck and ROG Ally's warranty, then no, unless something messes up while you're opening it. But to make a warranty claim, you have to put the original SSD back in before sending it in. If you're referring to the SSD's warranty, then as long as you're careful when installing it, it shouldn't void the warranty.
