The way I have mine set up is i have my Samsung 980 pro 1tb as my main drive which holds certain games I know I’m gonna keep on there for max performance like world of Warcraft or final fantasy 14. I have another drive that is bigger that I use to install other games that after I’m done I delete them. If you have enough slots you can just plop this in there and use it as another drive for storage of games and other media. You don’t have to remove your drive. Hope this answers your question.
