Hello Tony, Please be informed that the WD_BLACK SN850 SSD comes in two variants with heatsink. Long load times are obsolete with next-gen PCIe Gen4 technology, reaching irrational read/write speeds up to 7000/5300MB/s**. Arm your system with RGB lighting, an optional heatsink model. Please check with the manufacturer vendor whether the WD drive will fit and support the host device. For more information on the drive refer to the link: http://products.wdc.com/library/AAG/ENG/data-sheet-wd-black-sn850-nvme-ssd.pdf -Need Help? Please see our "'Contact Us" page for information.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Yes but buy the version without the heatsync. I’d prefer a Samsung nvme but using usb 3 technology it limits the speed. I believe if you use something like a usb c thunderbolt cable with a thunderbolt 3 port you can get faster speeds but I haven’t fully tested it out with my WD black P50 drive.
