Yes, but it will be slower than the one you are replacing (7200 RPM vs. 5400 RPM). Both are SATA drives, so there should be no issue.

The WD BLUE 1TB 3.5 5400RPM INTERNAL HARD is a match both electronically and physically. I have a lot of experience worhing with the HP and it should be a good replacement. Mine is working great.
