• Yes, but it will be slower than the one you are replacing (7200 RPM vs. 5400 RPM). Both are SATA drives, so there should be no issue.

• The WD10-EADS- 65M2b1 appears to be a SATA that is the 3 inch structural format. The WD BLUE 1TB 3.5 5400RPM INTERNAL HARD is a match both electronically and physically. I have a lot of experience worhing with the HP and it should be a good replacement. Mine is working great.
