Hi Fred, The WD Blue SSDs are available in either a 2.5”/7mm cased or an M.2 2280 model to evolve with smaller and thinner computers. With form factors to accommodate most laptops, desktop PCs, and small form PCs, a WD Blue SSD is ready for the job. Moreover, we would recommend you to please contact motherboard or computer manufacturer to check whether the drive will fit and support. -Need Help? Please see our "'Contact Us" page for information
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. No absolutely not. Each MacBook has a specific type of drive. Even though is labeled SSD the MacBook will not have the clearance for the format to fit or use this WD drive. Please watch videos on YouTube to help you understand the inside of your MacBook so you can have a better idea about the difficulty of what you're trying to do. Good luck if you never done it before don't try it not that easy.
