As long as the PC requires a SATA disk drive this should work properly and will breathe new life into your PC. Unfortunately moving data to a new drive can be difficult when using Windows but a hardware professional can help you with this. Otherwise you will need to install a new operating system on the new drive. Good luck! You will be amazed how much faster your PC will be.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. It may not be economically feasible for you in terms of the cost because, we may not live close. All you have to do is go online and google, "how to install an SSD." A regular SSD will work on and PC or laptop, internal or external. Samsung EVO 860 in my opinion is much easier to use to clone your drive/system using their data management software. (download). If you buy a Western Digital SSD, you have to purchase software to help you with the cloning process. You can only use the free Samsung data management cloning software if you purchase their SSD product.
