No only if external, it too big to fit inside it’s a standard desktop size

No this hard drive will not fit in a laptop. I would suggest an external hard drive for that cause you probably can’t fit more than one hard drive in there anyway and you would have to transfer everything to the new drive including windows to install it. I would get an external and use that it would be way easier and if you get a good usb 3.0 model you should get comparable read writes speeds anyway.
