• Yes! This drive will work with your Optiplex 755 system. The drive does not come with a SATA cable, which you will need to connect it to your motherboard.

• Only if it is a full tower. Dell 755 comes in 4 sizes. If your's is a desktop rather than a sff or an usff, it should fit in the second slot.

• yup will work just fine, primary or secondary, do not forget to go to your bios "f2" on dell after you install the drive, and enable the port/connector so the system will use the socket you plugged it to

• I did install 1TB IHD in opti755 as my main volume, then formatted my original 80GB to be used for storage/backup only. Working great so far.

• Is the Optiplex 755 a desktop? Does it have an open slot for another HDD? Is your power supply strong enough for another HDD (seriously don't think they use much power)? And do you have an open port on your motherboard and power cord from your power supply for this? If so, this HDD should be more than fine to slap into your system for a second HDD.

• If the Optiplex 755 has enough internal space (I understand they are a low profile form factor), then yes, the 1TB HDD can be used as a second hard drive. A third SATA connection, on the motherboard, would be required. I'm assuming the original hard drive and the DVD drive are using the first two SATA connections.
