“I have a mid 2012 MacBook Pro model A1286. I’m trying to run Windows through “parallels” i already have enough ram but the hard drive Has issues. I’m not sure why but it’s not working correctly. Can I replace it with this one, is it compatible with mine?”

• This is a desktop hard drive not a laptop hard drive so the answer is no this will not work. In all mac computers that I 've upgraded installing a solid state hard drive will yield the best performance.
