It probably will but isn't advised. You want to try and get red or black colored hard drives for a security systems as those hard drives are better suited for continous use like that. These hard drives are just for occasional storing usually after a year or two they start to die out if you are copying a lot of stuff. I recommended a producta hope that helps.
