• It probably will but isn't advised. You want to try and get red or black colored hard drives for a security systems as those hard drives are better suited for continous use like that. These hard drives are just for occasional storing usually after a year or two they start to die out if you are copying a lot of stuff. I recommended a producta hope that helps.

• Any drive will do. Past years ago, there were specialized hd's for video. Not the case any more. I would be concerned about the speed. Video requires fast speed. You might look as SSD drives.
