If you are seeing this error message consistently each time you try to start your computer and you are unable to boot the computer all the way to the desktop, then you need to start all over again. It is highly unlikely that you'll be able to transfer the data. Hopefully, you have your important data backed up on USB flash drives, a backup device, to the 'Cloud' through Google Docs, One Drive, etc. If this is the case, you can get this hard drive, provided that your computer has SATA cables and your hard drive bay is 3.5" wide. Then, you can install your same operating system to this drive and then install drivers, programs and recover your data from such sources. Hopefully, you have the physical DVD-ROM disc that your operating system came on. If not, you'll need to contact Microsoft and give them the information they ask for to send you a disc or bootable USB drive of the operating system that you bought and downloaded from them.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Either copy the iso from one to the new (main drive C, new drive D:), or several software products will clone your system drive to a second drive location. (I used EASE US Clone, but there are several others out there.) Or take the computer and new drive to GEEK Squad, and they can clone it.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I use clonezilla, which is based on linux Operating System (OS). I've burned a copy to CD. My procedure is to detach all Hard Drives (HDD), Solid State Drives (SDD), and flash drives from the computer. Then attach the old HDD, attach the new HDD (be sure they are the same size or the new one is larger). Turn the computer on, open the CD drive, and insert Clonezilla CD, then turn the computer back off. Turn it on again and hit whichever F1-F12/Del key triggers the boot options menu before the OS loads. If I miss it, I restart the computer again... When the menu is up, select Boot from CD or DVD or w/e it's labeled. Clonezilla will come up with a keyboard layout menu (I choose US) and then several other menu options, but I would use Copy One Hard Drive To Another, not the ones that talk about images. Then pick the Source HDD (old HDD) and the Destination HDD (new HDD) and confirm a few times. It runs for up to several hours. There's plenty of room for mistakes, so I would research Clonezilla thoroughly before attempting this for the first time. Also make sure you can see which HDD is old and which is the new one based on the long identifier/names that are used in this program. Or have someone else back up your drive... Good Luck!
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I have used Macraium to image my hard drives. There are plenty of other options available. If you are novice at this I suggest you take it to Geek Squad to have it down proper. Loosing valuable data is no fun.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I have used the cloning software provided by WD to save the contents of several hard drives. If your drive has not yet failed, it should work for you too.
