You can, it's just rare and usually super expensive. If you're concerned about speed, get an SSD.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.upgrade to a SSD, you won't be disappointed.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.WD black two and a half inch hard drive does have a 7200 RPM do some checking that should work
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.yes they do make them, google "western digital black hd 7200 rpm" :) they cost strangely, about the same as the mainstream ones that they sell in stores, but which are blue/mainstream, and 5400rpm. you have to order them online, best buy sells them in their online store, just look for the "black" and 7200rpm designation :)
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. Not really related to the product, however, I'll try to answer your question as best I can. RPM speeds matter less these days, as the read/write interface board is able to read and write more data. A 5200 RPM drive today will outperform a 7200 RPM drive from 5 years ago in most cases. If performance is absolutely a necessity, I encourage you to seek out a 7200 RPM drive that meets your needs, or alternatively a solid state drive, which will provide exponentially better performance speeds, if you can sacrifice the need for space. Then, I would recommend using an external drive for saving larger media (movies, pictures, games, what have you). Hope this helps. -DontCopyThatFloppy
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Don't even know if they make a 7200 HDD for a laptop. This is due to power consumption of "high speed" HHDs. If you want more speed go with a SSD. It also usually consumes far less power.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. It's related to shock sensitivity. Laptops have tendency of being bumped around therefore they have lower spinn I ng hdd to reduce failure.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. You can. You just need to shop elsewhere for it.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. You can. Google WD Black laptop hard drive. The Black version is a 7200rpm hard drive. If I were you, I'd skip the 7200 rpm and go with a solid state drive. Depending on the capacity you need, will determine the price. The difference in performance can't be compared.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.RPM means revolutions per minute. There is a round storage disc in the hard drive, that rotates at great speed while data is being extracted from or written to it. Beats me why you would be told about the RPM though, as it would be hardly noticed. The random access memory "RAM" is mostly to blame for slow processing. The more RAM the computer has the faster it can process data and handle more tasks without visibly slowing down. Less RAM means lower multitasking ability and slower processing.
