I don't see why not, consider this is a desktop HD, not sure of the internal space for this HP PC

If your desktop allows extra room for a 3.5" HDD. Then yes. When installing. Be sure to unplug, then hold the power button for 15 seconds to drain any possible built up power. Also be cautious when working within. You'll need to be sure you're free from static electricity. Also be sure to buy a SATA cable if you're just adding another HDD to existing PC. If you're exchanging the drive, you'll already have a SATA cable to use.
