i don't know why it's like that on best buy's site... but the one's i get from best buy are indeed the 3d-nand ones. if you go by the upc... it matches.

They are always evolving and you will see different model numbers but if it is the wd with the 5year warranty you are fine. If its a 3year warranty find one with the 5 year newer and a longer warranty!!

Apparently this is a rebranded model of the "WD Blue SSD" (WDS500G1B0A) and not the current "WD Blue 3D NAND SSD" (WDS500G2B0A). The power efficiency isn't quite as good as the newer model. Wish WD/Best Buy wouldn't obfuscate the model number like this.
