• It should work no problem if the computer supports sata. However, you may have to backup, clone, or clean install of mac 0S on the SSD.

• It will work, there are YouTube videos with instructions how to do it. It doesn’t look difficult, but if you’re not technically savvy, you should take it to an Apple authorized service provider (not Best Buy) and get the SSD installed.
