If you have a sata 2.5" drive slot, yes it will work.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Best way to find out is to go to Dell.com and enter the service tag of your computer. That will tell you the hard drive specs of your model. If the specs reference an mSata port or other than a standard SATA connection. Then it won’t work. If you open your computer and it has a mechanical drive. It will work. How do you know if it is a mechanical drive? You can simply put your ear to the computer without even opening it and if you hear something that sounds like it is spinning up to speed. Then it is mechanical and you can use this drive with no problems. Only IDE, EIDE and SATA drives are mechanical. But IDE and EIDE are no longer used and haven’t been for a very long time. Safe bet that if you hear something spinning up then it’s a mechanical SATA.
