yes this should work if your computer supports sata. remember to clone your hard drive or do a clean install of windows on the SSD. if you're cloning you need a usb to sata wire or dock.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.They make a 1 TB and 2 TB version but they are really expensive. That is 2x and 4x the amount of a 500 gb hdd. You can back up your files to the cloud or portable drive, etc. Or buy a data to usb cable to transfer files. Installing this drive means you have to reinstall the operating system on your laptop as well, but that is with any new drive.
