• As to storage, it depends on how many steam games you have, and how much storage they need. If you have 14,000,000,000,000 games, you are probably out of luck. As for the actual amount, you get the amount designated, allowing for differing methods of counting space and for a certain amount taken up through formatting.

• Yes, but the hard drive itself is slow so expect slow loading times depending on what game you play.
