Can I use this to save data on my MacBook Air m1 model? null

I believe you can knowing only it uses a USB cable to connect to the requisite USB port. I can not answer whether or not your computer has the requisite port. I suggest you take your MacBook to the store with you and ask a sales rep or tech guru. I can tell you it seemed to work with my 10 year old Toshiba Satellite running Windows 8.1 just fine.
