Hello, Please be informed that the WD Easystore drive is a plug 'n' play External Hard Disk Drive. The drive ships with a USB 3.0 cable and uses USB 3.0 Type-A interface. The drive comes pre-formatted with NTFS file system. However, you can format the drive in required/supported file system format. Please refer to the link mentioned: https://support-en.wd.com/app/answers/detail/a_id/20821 To know more about the drive please refer to the link: http://products.wdc.com/library/AAG/ENG/4078-705145.pdf -Need Help? Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. The drive comes formatted in NTFS. It also has a Windows backup application and a MAC backup application. Although I have not attempted to format the drive to FAT32, I see no reason why it could not done using the Windows utility. Just plug in the drive, right click on the drive (I believe it comes up as WD EasyStore), select the format option, and select FAT32.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.
