will it work with a mac ? hows the transfer speed? null

In order to use with a max you have to format it and once you format it for max it cannot be used for windows unless deleting everything and reforming. The speed is good usually 10gb/ minute

According to it's specs, yes, as long as you using MAC os 10, it will work with a MAC. I have had no speed problems.
