“Is this considered a 2nd hard drive meaning it can do everything as your normal C drive on a Windows computer would do? Can I download programs to it and access it via the external drive without having to have the programs on my computers hard drive?”

Hi kkkppp, Please be informed that the WD Easystore drive is a plug 'n' play external portable drive tested and designed only for Windows and Mac computers. The drive can be used to keep any data but the drive can not work as an internal drive.
