• It will be tricky if you want to use this external drive to boot from, that is hold your operating system. However you will be able to play your games from it as any other USB drive. Boot up first then this drive is the same as any other drive just a different drive letter.

• This drive acts as a other drive with the exception that it is a USP drive. So in short yes so long as your game does not require to be stored on root drive of operating system.
