“When not in use can you unplug it to down load what you want stored and when you want or do you have to keep it always connected ?”

• Yes you can ,but go to task bar and click on safely remove hardware and click eject so you do not lose any files in the EASY STORE before you unplug it.

• Data transfer and power are thru a single usb connection. It does not need be connected all the time.
