“Do these have sata interface on the hard drive itself? Say I wanted to remove it from the case it comes in and use it the drive in my laptop or something. Thanks”

• No. Only interface is usb3, and case does not open to allow replacement of drive.

• It is NOT recommended that you remove these from the case. As a tech, myself, not only will you void the warranty, but, it is much less work AND less expensive to just purchase a raw drive of the size you want!
