I believe that the new computers could handle multiple things plugged in at the same time. Do you have enough USB ports? If not then maybe get a USB hub to have more ports available for use. Best Buy has USB hubs for purchase as well. You will need iTunes installed on your computer in order to transfer your music to your iPod. Maybe first rip the CDs onto your storage device and then sort your music library in iTunes? As an alternative, if you have iPod touch you can always add streaming service to your device, such as Spotify or Amazon Music Unlimited.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. If you have two usb ports you can do both at the same time.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.First of all I don't think you can copy CD's directly to your IPod. You first have to download them to your computer hard drive and then copy the music to your IPOD. You need to copy the music from iTunes. Look through the menu under "copy to". I know I have copied CD's to my hard drive and then used ITunes to make a CD of my favorite songs and also copied to my iPod. Hope this helps.
