You certainly can. I do between an iMac and PC (windows 10). just check beforehand how to format then there is nothing else to do. It will swap between the two.

Yes but check on the formatting before hand, but yes I use mine between iMac and PC with no difficulties. No addirional actions needed once correctly formatted for dual use. You love it.
