“Does the installation software come on a disk? Or is it on the drive itself?”

• The Software is on the drive itself.. no disk. You can delete it, if you don't want to use it. I deleted the software and just use my drive as a 'HUGE' Thumdrive. It works fine on both my Chromebook and Windows10 laptop.
