Here is a link to WD website and Downloads page. https://support.wdc.com/downloads.aspx?lang=en Download these programs and any more you wish to have WD Discovery™ software with WD Backup™ and WD Drive Utilities™ That is the standard software that ships with most HDD's under WD.

In the event that the product has been discontinued for an extended period of time, you may need to call the manufacturer’s customer support number for additional assistance/information. In some cases they can provide you a copy of the original installation disk via mail. Best of luck!

In the Internet search box, type this .... wd data storage software. Then look for Downloads - Software and firmware downloads. You'll then have the whole list of available software.
