“Is there a WD Red disk inside?”

• All the RED drives I seen are 3.5 inch, This contains a 2.5 inch drive with an extended Circuit board and will not fit a Laptop , or a computer Bay - SATA connector is not on the drive, only the USB cable connector

• No it does not. Red disks are a wholly separate type of HD altogether. If you want a Red disk you have to specifically search for one.
