• Windows Backup makes the drive hidden. You can control your backup via the Windows Backup Program

• My experience so far is just the opposite - I can get the EasyStore external isk to run with Windows Backup and Restore, but I have not been successful (yet) with the WB Backup.

• The drive uses 4K sectors so windows 7 backup won’t work with it. There used to be a WD utility that would change the drive from 4K to 512 sectors which made the bigger drives work with windows backup.
