“What is the RPM speed of this? 5400 or 7200?”

• According to the box and on line it's 5400 but it seems faster then that. It's a great portable memory and very small. Only down side is the power stays on all the time so I have to disconnect it when not in use.

• Apparently WD's new Easystore drive can run @ up to 7200rpm.

• 5400, typ portable hard drives are 5400rpm. 7200rpm had are always 1tb or under. Anything above 1tb is always 5400rpm 2,3 4,8tb etc...
