Only if you void the warranty and remove the drive from the enclosure. Personally the USB 3 connection works fine on PC and Macintosh laptops and PC desktops. For best results connect it to a USB 3 port on the computer - a USB 2 port will be very slow for data transfers.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I quite don't fully understand what you trying to ask here but all external hard drives have inside a 2.5 hdd (laptop hdd size) but I haven't opened mine since it looks like if you open it you won't be able to close it again.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Short answer, no. Long answer, yes. You would have to open the drive up, and that would void the warranty altogether. What you would find inside would be a laptop hard drive, so I do not think using this as a Sata drive is the best thing to do.
