Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.To start, I would move any precious files elsewhere as reformatting wipes the drive. Next plug it into your Mac and open disk utility, select the external drive, then click reformat and select the Mac optimized one. It should also be noted that Macs will read the factory format but not be able to write to the drive out of the box.
