• Yes. I don’t notice any lag other than loading times, but that’s normal. I hooked this one up to my Xbox One X and it works like a charm.

• For PC Gaming, you can use the drive for that, but I wouldn't recommend it. With a 16MB Cache and 5400 rpm your load times will be disappointing especially on high graphic intensive games to a point you might as well order pizza and see which one shows up first. These portable drives are good for storage and file access, but anything that requires high disk writes or reads using this drive will bottleneck that fast gaming system you paid all that money for. There is a reason why Raptor and SSD drives exist. However, Candy Crush or Monopoly or any similar games are definitely acceptable.
