I picked up mine in the store but friends have bought them and had them shipped from Best buy for free and they arrived in perfect condition so probably not going to be an issue for you. An issue is that you will probably need to reformat for the MAC unless you are running OS X as these drives come formatted to NTFS from the factory. It is no big deal to do it, but it will take a while.

I would definitely recommend you for meeting this for your Mac. And it’s a pretty solid hard drive so I don’t think it will get damage from shipping it.
