Yes, it should be as it mentions a downloadable NTFS driver to read/write on macOS. I purchased the recommended storage drive made in Thailand NOT China.

I looked at the box the 5TB Storage drive came in and it does say it has a downloadable NTFS driver to read/write macOS.So, yes it should work fine.
