Hi Jimiface, Please be informed that the WD Easystore drive is a plug 'n' play device tested and designed for Windows and Mac computers. Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.The drive is agnostic. You may run into a problem because the drive is so large. I think the early versions of macOS had a hard coded limit on the size of a drive. As I remember, it's 2tb. And re-partition it as an Apple disk. I'd recommend going with a smaller capacity drive than this 5tb drive.
