You can edit videos that are stored on the easystore. They will load a little slower than if it were stored on an internal HDD, which will load a little slower than if the video was stored on an SSD. You can install your editing program on the easystore, but the registry for the program will still be on your OC drive, so you would not be able to plug the easystore into another computer and use the editor. The loading of the editing software is subject to the same load spead constraints as the loading of the video from the easystore.

You will have to install your video editing software to your computer, not this external hard drive.
