“Can I connect this easystore to my router to have WiFi?”

• I have this connected to the USB 3.0 port on my router and have copied files to and from this device. It has a built in FTP and Media Center. Which work GREAT. I have a Linksys 1200 series router.

• This drive connects via USB 3.0, which is a wire. If your router has the capability of providing network access to an attached external drive using USB (e.g. Netgear routers with ReadyShare) then you may be able to connect the drive to it and access it via WiFi. However, you need to check your router manual to see if it supports this functionality, and also the maximum capacity of the drive it'll support.

• This drive connects to your computer via the USB cable that is included. I chose this device specifically because it was NOT "cloud" or wi-fi compatible.
