I bought the same, and My TV isn't supporting either and asking to check the DNLA settings for the Drive. Will update the drive for media play and see if it works.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Works great with the NVIDIA SHIELD TV 4K HDR STREAMING MEDIA PLAYER
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. If you have a newer flat screen TV or any Smart TV, you don't need any sort of player. If your TV has a USB port, you can plug the drive directly into the TV. Once you do that the TV should register the device and allow you to play things from the drive.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I would recommend getting an Nvidia Shield Android TV for a media device that has the most flexibility and hardware compatibility. You can use it for just about any scenario you want from live TV over your network streaming (hdhomerun, other OTA tuners etc), streaming apps, plex home media server streaming etc. This hd is large enough to store quite a bit of media before needing to expand to a separate NAS on your network and it will also connect over your lan to a NAS for storage to stream later if you need additional storage.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Anything with DLNA should work!
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. You need something, like a computer, to transcode the films to your tv. Playstation, Amazon FireTV, Xbox, roku, appleTV, laptop computer, etc.
