Not with the Xbox 360, there is a 2TB max size. For an Xbox One (original, X, or S) it will work as long as you have it on the latest updates.

It should, as long as your Xbox can read other 8 TB drives.

I dont see why not Do not own an xbox. I like PS4.check out youtube for a tutorial. Lots of videos on how to format your drives for different platforms
