• It's plug and play. I'm using it on my S. The light remains on. Not sure if it can be disabled. My settings are for the hdd to work while the S is in sleep mode

• will work with xbox thats why i bought one works wonders. has own power cord so will always stay on light is annoying blinking

• It will power down once the sun port is no longer 528i nitialized.

• Yes it will work with Xbox, however externally powered so no it won’t turn off with snow power.

• To solve your blinking light problem go into settings on your Xbox and make sure in the power settings to turn off your external. See photo and good luck
