Hi tag404, Please be informed that the Easystore Desktop drive is a high-capacity storage device that offers fast data transfer rates, is both USB 3.0 ready and USB 2.0 compatible, comes preformatted in NTFS file system, and built with the trusted quality and reliability that WD is known for. However, you can use external drive in exfat file system format to manually move the data from mac to windows or vice-versa.
